Green Earth: Daniel Chatto

19 November - 19 December 2014

Chatto’s new work is an elegy on his love for the South Downs in Sussex.  He paints landscapes using pigment and raw elements from the earth such as gum, hide glue, gelatine and wax. Chatto’s works relate to Ovid’s Metamorphoses and incorporate characters dreaming of myth and the idea of change within the landscape.
