Mark Entwisle is an award winning portrait artist. Winner of the Hunting Art Prize in 2000, prize winner at the National Portrait Awards in 2002, winner of the Main Collectors Prize at the Discerning Eye in 2015, and featured in the Sunday Times Watercolours Exhibition 2020. Mark is also a regular contributor to the BP Portrait Award held annually in the National Portrait Gallery. His portraits are often selected for prestigious exhibitions and one of his works is part of the 'Winter Exhibition' at the Royal Academy of Arts in 2020.
Mark's style captures the essence of the sitter. Often situated in a personal setting; a favourite interior or a significant landscape, Mark's talent for expressing the sitter beyond the edges of the figure and into the environment of the painting, creates a beautifully unique portrait.
