Lockdown for the most of us has been a strange and uncomfortable experience. However, the routine for artists has to some extent has changed very little with hours spent alone in the studio. ‘Anthology’ is a collection of work created during this period, and we are curious to see what has emerged. As this has been one of the strangest summers that the world has ever experienced, this is no ordinary anthology. The artists have responded by celebrating the beauty of nature and experience during this time, yet the work is heightened by a collective sense of anxiety.
The collection of paintings and sculptures in 'Anthology' represents a gathering of seemingly disparate ideas, all connected their presence in the 'right now'.
