Drawing from life, Melanie Miller's prints explore natural ‘found’ objectssuch as plants, flowers, animals and insects, layered on textured backgrounds. Miller choses many of the objects with a degree of nostalgia. For example, treasured finds from a school’s nature table, viewed with a mixture of mystery and wonder yet relatively commonplace.
